Through the years, Brer Rabbit has been drawn by many artists. In the 1800′s, A.B. Frost, Frederick S. Church, and E. W. Kemble provided illustrations to go along with Joel Chandler Harris’s volumes of tales. The team of now legendary Disney animators gave us what is probably now the most recognized design for him to date. Many, many other artists have provided their interpretations of him over the years — this includes amateur fans on the internet.
If you have drawn Brer Rabbit, we would love to feature your art here. It does not have to be any pre-conceived design (read: Disney). There are some great original ideas of him out there that deserved to be seen. So please let me know if you would like to submit to our gallery.
